Longtime Rawlins resident Milo L. Petersen died Tuesday, Sept. 4 2007, after a long illness. He was 73.
Services are pending for Mr. Petersen. He has been cremated.
Milo Petersen was born July 4 1931 in Dannebrog, Neb., to Ruth and Elmer Petersen. He attended school in Rawlins, where he lived for 69 years. Milo married Helen L. McCannon in Rawlins on Jun 15 1954.
Milo was employed by the Wyoming Dairy and the Union Pacific Railroad for 20 years. He retired in 1990. Milo enjoyed his coffee groups all through the years.
Survivors include his wife Helen, of Rawlins; two sons, Burt Allen Petersen of Wheatland and Ed Petersen and wife Judie of Cheyenne; two daughters, Milen Petersen of Cheyenne and Denise Larson of Riverton; granddaughter Ira and husband Matt Davis of Riverton; and great-granddaughter Avery Davis of Riverton.
